Account Registration, Login & Verification
LiveSponsors is an affiliate/rewards platform — you place bets and play on partner operators (e.g. Betano, PokerStars, GGPoker, WPT, WPN, Bodog, BetOnline, bet365, TigerGaming, SportsBetting, Natural8, PartyPoker) whose accounts are synced to LiveSponsors so your activity counts toward LS Points and Rewards Program tiers.
What is KYC and why do I have to verify my identity?
KYC ("Know Your Customer") confirms who you are before you can fully use a betting/gaming account. It confirms you are who you say you are, that you meet the legal minimum age to gamble, and that your account isn't being used fraudulently. It's a standard, required part of using any licensed betting or gaming platform. Verification is normally carried out by the licensed partner operator you play on, and exactly when it happens depends on that operator and its regulator — it can be required before you deposit, before you play, or before your first withdrawal. It's also commonly triggered by a withdrawal request, a high-value deposit, or unusual account activity. If you're unsure what's required or verification is taking a long time, please contact our support team.
What documents do I need to submit to verify my account?
You'll typically be asked for: proof of identity (a valid, unexpired passport, national ID, or driver's licence with a clear photo, matching your account details); proof of address (a utility bill from the last 3–6 months, or a bank statement from the last 3 months, matching your account address); and proof of payment method (for a card, a photo showing only the first 6 and last 4 digits — never send a fully visible card number or CVV; for an e-wallet, a screenshot showing your registered name and email). Exact requirements can vary by operator and jurisdiction. If a document is rejected, this usually means it didn't meet the format/clarity requirements — resubmitting a clear, valid, unedited copy is the normal next step. If it's rejected again, please contact support.
How long does verification take?
Verification generally follows these steps: you upload your documents, an automated check runs first, then (if needed) a manual review, followed by a decision — approved, rejected, pending, or escalated for further checks. Turnaround can depend on the partner operator and on whether extra documentation is requested. If you've been waiting an unusually long time, please contact our support team.
Why can't I withdraw my money — is it because of verification?
If your identity verification isn't complete yet, withdrawal requests are placed on hold until it is — this is a standard, required check, not a sign that anything is wrong with your funds. Your funds aren't lost; access is just paused until verification (and any additional documents requested) is completed.
What happens if I refuse to complete verification, or my documents keep being rejected?
Verification is required, not optional, for a licensed betting/gaming account. If it isn't completed, your account activity can be suspended, deposits and withdrawals can be blocked, gameplay access can be restricted, and in some cases the account may be closed. Exact consequences depend on the specific operator's terms — please contact support if you want to understand what applies to your account.
How long do you keep my documents/data after I close my account?
Verification documents and account data are generally retained for a period after account closure to meet legal record-keeping obligations, commonly cited as 5–10 years depending on jurisdiction. Under data-protection rules like GDPR you have rights including access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, and deletion, subject to legal retention obligations. For a formal data request, please contact support.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page — you'll receive a password-reset link by email. Follow the link to set a new password. Use a mix of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols, and avoid reusing passwords from other sites or anything easy to guess. If you don't receive the reset email (check spam/junk too) or the link doesn't work, please contact support.
My account is locked or suspended — what do I do?
Accounts can be locked or suspended for several reasons: repeated failed login attempts, suspected suspicious activity, a violation of the platform's terms, or a self-exclusion request. A lockout from failed logins is usually resolved with a password reset. If the reason isn't a simple failed-login lockout, please contact our support team.
Can I self-exclude directly on LiveSponsors, or only close my account?
LiveSponsors itself does not perform self-exclusions. If you want to self-exclude from betting/gaming, request that directly with the operator you play on, or through a national self-exclusion register where available. What LiveSponsors can do on its own side is close your LiveSponsors account if you ask us to. If you're self-excluded from a synced partner operator, you'll stop earning LS Points from that operator, won't be able to purchase tickets/products tied to it, and won't receive related promotional emails. If you'd like to talk this through, please reach out to our support team — we're here to help.
