Responsible Gambling

LiveSponsors is an affiliate/rewards platform, not the licensed gambling operator. Most Responsible Gambling tools (limits, self-exclusion, Time-Outs) are applied and controlled by the partner operator you're playing on (e.g. Betano, PokerStars, bet365, GGPoker, WPN, and others), not by LiveSponsors itself.

What is Responsible Gambling?

Responsible Gambling means playing consciously and within limits you set for yourself — being aware of the risks, keeping it as entertainment rather than a way to solve financial problems, and having access to tools and support if it stops feeling that way. Core tools available through operators include deposit and bet limits, session time limits, temporary or permanent self-exclusion, activity/betting history reports, and referrals to independent support organisations.

Can I self-exclude directly through LiveSponsors?

No. LiveSponsors does not perform self-exclusions. If you want to self-exclude, contact the operator you play on directly, or use a national self-exclusion register where available in your country. The only action LiveSponsors can take on its own side is to close your LiveSponsors account, if you ask us to. Typical self-exclusion durations offered by operators are short/medium-term (3 or 6 months), long-term (1 or 5 years), indefinite, or permanent — some licences require a minimum period (commonly 6 months). If you're self-excluded from a synced operator, you'll stop earning LS Points from it, can't purchase related tickets/products, and won't receive related promotional emails.

If I choose an indefinite self-exclusion, can I ever reactivate my account?

Reactivation after an indefinite self-exclusion may only be requested once a minimum period has passed (commonly 6 months, though this can vary by operator/jurisdiction), and is not automatic. Please contact support for any reactivation request.

What happens to my LS Points if I self-exclude from an operator?

You'll stop earning LS Points from that operator while the self-exclusion is active. Please contact our support team if you'd like to know what happens to points you'd already earned.

How do deposit, loss, and bet limits work?

You can set deposit, loss, and bet limits (daily, weekly, monthly, per-bet, per-session, or per-product). If you have more than one limit set, the most restrictive one always applies. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; raising a limit is subject to a cooling-off/waiting period (for example, 24 hours). You generally can't set an unrealistically high limit. If your loss limit is reached, you may no longer be eligible for promotions tied to betting, but can typically still use non-betting features.

What is a Time-Out, and how is it different from self-exclusion?

A Time-Out is a short, reversible break from gambling — typically 24 hours up to a few weeks — that ends automatically once the period is over. It's different from self-exclusion, which is longer-term and requires a deliberate reactivation process. While a Time-Out is active, you won't accumulate LS Points for bets or be able to purchase gambling-linked tickets/products.

What are reality checks?

Reality checks are periodic pop-up alerts (for example, every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) that remind you how long you've been playing. They don't block or pause your gameplay — they're just a prompt to help you stay aware of your session length.

I'm having trouble reversing a withdrawal I made — why?

If a "Stop Withdrawals" safeguard is active on your account, it doesn't stop you from withdrawing — it specifically stops you from reversing a withdrawal back into your gambling balance once made. Please contact support if you'd like this reviewed.

I got asked to complete a self-assessment — what is that?

A self-assessment is a short questionnaire an operator may ask you to complete — it can be triggered automatically, after a concerning comment or behaviour pattern, or when returning from self-exclusion. It helps check whether there's a low-risk explanation for the behaviour that triggered it.

I'm worried about my gambling / I feel like I can't stop — what can I do?

If gambling doesn't feel fun anymore, or you feel it's affecting your life, there's a range of support available: tools like deposit/loss/bet limits, a Time-Out, or self-exclusion through the operator you play with, and independent, confidential support organisations, including Gamblers Anonymous, Gambling Therapy, and the International Center for Responsible Gaming (international); GamCare and BeGambleAware (UK); SICAD (Portugal); the National Council on Problem Gambling (US); Gambling Help Online (Australia); and Jugadores Anónimos (Spain). These organisations offer confidential helplines, counselling, and treatment/recovery support, independent of any gambling operator. LiveSponsors isn't able to provide psychological support or treatment itself, but our support team is here to point you toward these tools and resources — please reach out, we're glad to help.

I'm a family member/friend and I'm worried someone I know has a gambling problem — can I report this?

Yes, you can reach out to our support team. For privacy reasons we can never confirm or deny that a specific person has an account with us, and we can't reveal who made a report. We may ask for basic details (a registered email or username, if you know them) to help identify a possible account, and we won't apply any restriction just from a third-party report.

What is the minimum age to gamble?

The legal minimum age depends on your country/region — most commonly 18, though it's 21 in some places. LiveSponsors and its partner operators apply a strict, zero-tolerance policy: no minor may register, hold, or use a gambling account. If someone is confirmed underage, the account is closed immediately and all activity blocked; the previous account cannot be reopened once they reach legal age — a new one is required.

If you're worried about your safety or someone else's

If you or someone you know is in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away. For anything related to gambling and your wellbeing, our support team is here for you — please reach out and we'll connect you with the right person and resources, with care and without judgment.
